Here’s the most important thing upfront: We do not sell your personal data — ever. We’ve never done it, and we have no plans to do it now or in the future. Your conversations are yours, and we’re committed to keeping things as private and transparent as possible.

What Information Do We Collect?

Nurvle uses powerful third-party AI services (like Google’s Gemini API) to understand your questions, generate responses, search the web, create images, or process multimodal inputs (text, images, audio, video).

Conversation Data: Your messages and any media you share are sent securely to these trusted providers only to create a real-time response.
Conversation History: To give you a seamless experience, your chat history is stored securely using Appwrite (our backend service). This lets Nurvle remember past conversations on your device and across sessions. Importantly — even though we manage the Appwrite infrastructure, we cannot access or view your individual conversations. The data is encrypted and isolated in a way that keeps it private from us.
Usage Data: We collect only anonymous, aggregated analytics (like general app performance or crash reports) to help us improve Nurvle. Nothing that identifies you personally.
No Account Needed: You don’t have to sign up, share an email, or provide any personal details to use the app.

We keep things minimal — only what’s truly needed to make Nurvle work well for you.

How Do We Use Your Information?

Simply put:

To power the AI features you love (answering questions, creating images, etc.).
To make the app better and more reliable through anonymous insights.

We never use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or training our own models beyond what’s required for the service. And again — we don’t sell it.

Third-Party Providers

Nurvle relies on respected partners like Google (Gemini API), Pollination AI, and SerpAPI. Your queries are processed by them in accordance with their strong privacy standards:

Data Security & Storage

We use industry-leading encryption and security practices. Your conversation history in Appwrite is protected and designed so that even we, the OptimSpark team, cannot read or access your personal chats. Your data stays private — full stop.

Your Choices

You’re always in control:

Delete individual chats or clear your entire history anytime in the app.
Uninstalling removes all local and stored data.
